It's kind of cheesy, but I love the way Chubby Checker's "The Twist" opens with the really loud, pounding drums and horns.
"Sex Type Thing" by STP, "Higher Ground" by RHCP, "West End Girls" by Pet Shop Boys, "Erotic City" by George Clinton or Prince, "Zoo Station" by U2 (the beginning of one of my favorite albums of all-time), and most songs by Apoptygma Berzerk. Most of Apop's musical intros practically scream, "Get up and dance, bitch!"

I like the beginning of 'Do you remember Rock and Roll Radio" -Ramones, cause it sounds like the twist of a radio dial then the drums kick in.
I also like the cackle at the beginning of 'Radio Clash'. One of the best laughs in a song, ever.

Agreed on both counts. Good choices.
Adding: Billy Idol's "Eyes Without a Face", Dire Straits' "Walk of Life", and Bruce Springsteen's "I'm on Fire".
I swear I really do like modern music. I'm just going with mp3s that pop up while on shuffle this morning.
Mmmm... my two fave's are probably The Beach Boys, "Good Vibrations" and Pink Floyd "Pigs, Three Different Ones". Now GV actually kicks off with vocals and everything right off the top of the bat, but it's fucking awesome!
