At least Metallica have never been boring. Whatever they do, its at least been somewhat interesting. Hell, Lars farts and it makes headlines. St. Anger what a major letdown. But there are still some worthwhile tunes on there. At least they haven't given up, either (although I bet some ppl would like it if they did). I admire The Boyz for never giving up and putting on a good show.
