3 concerts in 3 days

I'm getting too old for this

On halloween I saw the slackers at the local bar. I have never seen this place so packed in my life. I love seeing the slackers, so much fun and Vic kept hitting on my gf which was funny.

Next night was The queers who are just always fun to see. They never seem to take breaks, they just keep on playing. Last time they played one of my friends stage dove off this big speaker and no one caught him, so he went head first into the ground and cracked his head open. Then when the paramedic tried to patch up his head, he regained conciousness and punched him in the face and then got up and ran outside and across the street and threw his body threw a sandwich shops window. So funny, he was so drunk.

Lastnight was the casualties, forgotten and class assasins. Awesome show but I am paying for it today. The forgotten were by far the best. The casualties are just fashion street punks but they are still entertaining to watch. It was cool because people I literally hadn't seen in years were there so it basically turned into one big party. Nww I am bruised and I dislocated my thumb but I popped it back in. I am too old now

anyone else get the same feeling? I know I should just stand at the back and watch but when its a band I like I can't just watch...

up until a couple of years ago i thought i was still young and rowdy, until i got cold-cocked by an elbow at the jesus lizard show. that's when i decided i'd like to keep my teeth as long as i possibly can

yeah, I know I should stay away, all my joints are shot and my body is a mess but I can't help it...I am weak.. when I see little 15 year old's pogo'ing to street punk bands, I just have to go in

dude, I'm only 20 and I'm too old for this shit... from getting kneed in the nuts in a slayer pit to gouging out someones eye in a cannibal corpse pit I've just had enough. Doesn't mean you are supporting the band any less... just get by the pit and help people up! You can still have a hell of a time. I've been to shows all by myself, stood in the back and just enjoyed the music and I tell you what, that was one of my favorite shows. While the unity and socialization is fun and all it's still about the music and if you support the music then you are doing your part.
