my new (new to me, 1987) jeep has a cassette player, l'horreur ! so i dug out all my 10+ year old tapes, lo and behold I rediscovered pop will eat itself. anyone not familiar, GET INTO THIS BAND. waaay ahead of their time. rap, funk, hardcore, industrial goodness.

madryan - was Meat Beat Manifesto on that tour as well? I think those three bands played this awesome club in MN around that time

i love clint mansell. for anyone who has not heard of this band, but has seen Requiem for a Dream, he did the soundtrack for that with the Kronos Quartet.

Nope, at least not the show I saw. It was NIN, PWEI, and The Jim Rose Circus.

Dos Dedos Mis Amigos is their only good album, in my opinion. Trent Reznor's production I think lent them a sound which was not totally theirs to start with. That can kind of leave a bitter taste in your mouth if you formed an affinity for them off of that release.

I second that opinion, for sure...

Best firewall dance track of all time:

"The PWEI Vs. The Moral Majority" leading into "The Dance Of The Mad Bastards."

"Cure For Sanity" is one of the best electronic records of all time. It's definitely, easily, PWEI's best, for sure.
