STATEMENT FROM MAYNARD:
November 2nd, coinciding with the presidential election, APC will be releasing a collection of songs about WAR, PEACE, LOVE AND GREED, entitled "eMOTIVe."

They have a video and single from the album on their web site.

He went into a whole long rant about it when I saw APC a couple months ago.

I got kicked out about an hour later tongue

APC seems to be dragging on and on.....for my money ( and the demos I heard) The new TOOL will be miles above this ( IMHO) it seems to me that APC have lost any collective vision they once had......step away Maynard....step slowly away..... wink

You know, usually Maynard's covers are pretty good. Tool's "No Quarter" was almost as good if not better than the original. But I'm listening to "Imagine" now and he's fucking butchering it.

ack.

What sound? It's a minute of monotone banging followed by 2 minutes of monotone singing to a monotone beat. I've never heard utopia sound so fucking depressing. ooo aaa

I just listened to "No Quarter" again; 10 minutes of pure awesomeness. It's just not the same without Adam Jones.

I'd have to agree with you on this one.

I have to agree as well. But, Maynard's voice makes me melt regardless. Anyone see the video "poking fun" at Bush that they have linked on the site? It's pretty interesting.

maybe its just me but i think Billy Howerdel is a much better musician. the live form of Orestes is better then any Tool song, in my ears.
