MUSIC: Johnny Rotten Goes Buggy

Sex Pistols frontman John Lydon (a.k.a. Johnny Rotten) will be the host of an upcoming documentary about insects called Megabugs. He has already hosted wildlife documentaries about gorillas and sharks.

Lydon will be doing such insect show standards as talking about tarantulas and scorpions, but the show will also feature Lydon having killer bees set upon him and being sucked by leaches (not at the same time).

The show will air on the Discovery Channel in November.

man, lets hope he gets his own nature series. i can't imagine how insane it would be.

I remember when the lead singer of the Who did a special on the History channel. that sounds bitchin though.

i can imagine the interview process for the narrator position:

guy: so, Mister Rotten. do you like bugs?
Johnny Rotten: FAAAAAAAHK awf!
guy: how about MEGA bugs?
Johnny Rotten: PHWOAR! I LOVE 'EM! WIKKID!

and so on.

that's wierder than when rollins hosted the show with the fighting cars.
