Oh, is this flying saucer tour cd the show where he's got a "drunk cunt" in the crowd telling him he sucks? That along with Rant in E. Minor (sans cheesy music interludes) have got to be the best. I remember when i was younger and obsessed with comedy central when all they seemed to have were stand-up shows. You'd always see Bill Hicks and he was the funniest guy out there. It's too bad some of the shit has dated a tad. What I wouldn't give to hear his rants about what's fucked up in the world these days.

i'm sure he could have plenty of fun with the likes of the backstreet boys and n sync. and when the little bush got elected, he probably would have done an entire show on it.

long live bill hicks. biggrin

Or blown his own fucking head off on stage. Or heck, maybe both. No reason to be a pessimist, huh?

I came into the whole BIll Hicks thing sort of late, sadly, so seeing more of his material released on "official" CDs makes me very happy.

hell yeah, bill hicks was incredible-I gotta go to amazon and pre order those cd's.
I don't think the philosophy cd was a total waste of time, since it co-incided with all his other records being reissued, and it's been a while since his death, so hopefully new people were checking it out and then buying the full lenghs.
off topic a bit,I'm going to see doug stanhope tonight,he's in mpls all week.fans of bill hicks should check it out. smile
