I agree I like it so much. I started one up with some friends. I enjoy sitting behind the set watching an upright bass. If only we could find a lead guitarist! Doh!!!

all recordings by this guy are pretty obscure and hard to find but if you ever come across anything by hasil adkins i highly recomend you grab it up. he's pretty tough. he actually wrote a little number called "she said" about 30plus years ago. the song later became a calling card for the cramps. i've only just recently been turned on to tiger army but annabelle lee has been played almost non-stop since then, it's one of my new favoritest songs. -gravy-

southern culture on the skids is a pretty hot band, too. i recentky heard a live version of a song called "rumors of surf". it's classic dick dale type stuff but the guitarist, rick miller plays the meanest, dirtiest guitar imaginable!! biggrin

Tiger Army are like psychobilly lite. They're a great band, but I like my psycho harder, faster, kinkier and bloodier.

I agree with Bruiserboy. I don't like the Hellbillys however. I played a show with them about a year and a half ago at a place in Sacramento called Daddy O's and they were complete assholes. They talked shit about every band that played that show with them. I thought that was pretty fucked up, Even if you don't like who you are playing with, you still show respect.
