SG CD Swap Summer 2004

In honor of my successful hosting of the previous CD swap, I figure it's time to do it again.

Here are the rules (stolen almost directly from CD swap 3):

Basic concept: You make a CD with a mix of your favorite songs. You mail 6 copies to me with $4 to cover return postage and part of the packaging costs.

Rules
1) CDs must be in AUDIO CD FORMAT ONLY!!! Not all of us (including myself) have a CD player capable of playing MP3s.

2) You have to send me a full and correct mailing address in order to get CDs in return.

I will be the only person to see your real name and address!

3) You must label each CD (The actual CD) with at least the mix name and your SG name.

4) Include a track list! Either on the CD label or legibly typed on one piece of paper per disk (6 pieces total). Include at least song name and artist, album name would be cool if it fits.


Members outside the US are welcome. Whatever the difference in postage, I'll pay it.

I would do this, but I don't think anyone would actually listen to the CD I would make.

I send you 6 other people's CDs back. It's a cool way to get to hear bands you may not normally buy their music and to introduce people to the music you like!

I would listen!!!! That's the point of this, introduce other members to your favorite music. Do it! It's fun!!!!!!!

$4???? WHAT A RIP OFF! How can I afford that. Yeah it makes sense to SELL A LIVER so I can swap some CD's. PPSSHH!! Ok sounds cool to me. I hope people write down the band and song names because it sucks hearing something you really like and not knowing who it is. But then again they could list them here or I guess if I have their user name I could bug them for it.

It worked great last time, so count me in again.

We need some rules, though, as in previous swaps. I propose the following:

1. No uber-pop. That is, J. Lo, Limp Bizkit, Linkin Park, Madonna, etc.

2. Additionally, nothing they play on the radio 10 times a day anyway.

3. No damned hidden tracks. Remove the silence.

Fuck that guys I'm putting whatever the hell I want on my CD if I like it. If you don't like it tough you have 5 more CD's. Now I have to find some Creed for my CD.
