Thanks to MTV's The Leak, eager fans can have the chance to preview the new Ashlee Simpson album, Autobiography. Her debut album has been billed as drawing from a wide variety of influences, however the fact that Simpson has co-written should appease listeners looking forward to hearing her unique musical stylings.

A private record release party is to be held Tuesday, July 20 from 9 pm to midnight, at a undisclosed Manhatten nightclub, for which a set of tickets is still available via Ebay auction.

she "performed" on david letterman a couple weeks ago. embarassing to watch.

i saw her sister, the famous one, performing with jewel on tv once. it was extremely embarrassing to watch. i couldnt tell if it was supposed to be a joke or not. they were singing a jewel song, and she was contorting her voice to try to sound like jewel, meanwhile contorting her face and arms and hands...
