Two years ago I won I meet and greet contest for the Pop Disaster Tour.
The opening band was Jimmy eat world and I must say that it's by far the worst gig i've ever been. Then Green Day was I really nice surprise, great show. Then Blink 182, well, they did the Tommy Lee stuff with the drummer wich was good to see. But Jimmy eat world was stuck in my head as the worst band I've ever seen.

The worst show I have ever seen, hands down, was when I saw The Paragraph open for Coheed. My god, they were terrible. Here's a rundown of the show

The Paragraph takes the stage
They play a really uninspired emo song
The singer talks to us in a "love me, I'm so innocent!" way for about 6 minutes
They play another uninspired emo song
The singer then blathers for 10 minutes about how he's "from the streets"
Random kid in the audience starts rapping "Let's Push Things Forward"
They play their last uninspired emo song, but are drowned out by the audience rapping "Weak Become Heroes" at the top of their lungs.

the jesus and mary chain in lollapalooza in irvine meadows some ten years ago or so. don't get me wrong, i absolutely LOVE the jesus and mary chain, but this show was pathetic. first of all, they were scheduled to play in the middle of the day...which is right away a problem when you're watching j&mc. the sound system was totally crackling and popping, the stage crew couldn't manage to get any sound to come out of the bass, the singer stormed off the stage pissed off as all hell after about two and a half songs that were completely interrupted by technical difficulties. the rest of the band followed shortly afterwords. it was just the wrong setting for these guys. it was just like 30 minutes of technical difficulties.

i saw them at a smaller venue a few days later, and they put on a nice show there.

That, to me, sounds like the best show ever biggrin

Still, vive le difference, eh?

Hmmm . . . usually I try to wipe bad shows from memory.

Bad Brains with Chuck from Faith No More singing. Completely uninspiring. Having seen Bad Brains in their heyday, it was especially disappointing.

GBH in like '91 or '92. They played at this ugly metal club called Harpo's in Detroit, there were 100 people there (which in this place looks like 10), and they were just tired and haggard. I think it was the original singer with three drunk bikers. I left after three songs.

I saw Sublime on the first Warped Tour, but out of respect for the deceased, I will refrain from saying anything other than they were terrible.

Autum to ash's at the garage london feb 2004, good god, they sucked, i stopped listeningto there album after thatr, i'd just bought the new one bout two hores before the gig and i haven't listend to it yet, they just stood there didn't say anything and then fucked off after 40mins, i then procedded to russle a few feathers buy makeing a paper mega phone and shouting " come back a play a real show you cunts' (or something like that) through it,

bubba sparxxx london astoria feb 2002, he played 3 songs his ugly one the one that go's 'gimme a munite' and a nother where he wasn't on stage and the black dude sung/rapped insted, then he comes back, said ' i just did a shit' and walked off fucking shit it was, the crowd got well argo and nearly stormed the stage, but Dilated Peaplos where surrport and they whereon for overan hour so it was ok in the end

i've never really been to a bad show. well, unless you count girls aloud at london astoria last new years eve. but even then it wasn't to bad cause it was just good watching them strut there stuff in little toto's biggrin .
p.s. i didn't go to watch them by the way. i went cause my best mate wanted to go and see them and as it was new years eve, i went along to celebrate with him and his mates. have to admit, i haven't had so many men grab my cock in one night (it was the G.A.Y. night that night as well). i might be straight, but it does give you confidence when someone pays attention to you blush .

detroit cobras, they and the white stripes were playing a show together (this was long before the stripes hit it big, and kind of faded away) with whirlwind heat and the clone defects. everyone was awesome but the cobras played last and ruined the night. they were booed off the stage. i felt bad for them, really.

oh yeah, and oasis sucked-but i didnt pay for the ticket so i didnt care

Linkin Park (nuff said)(yes it was free, i don't care, fuck that band)
the Union Underground (actually jumped in the crowd and beat up some kid who said they suck)

that This Day Forward show where This Day Forward got in a car accident and could not play, meaning I had to sit through 3 lame pop punk emo bands for NOTHING (well, Until the End were cool. .but not worth sitting through 3 pop punk emo bands)

Oh yeah Oasis, they also suck, I saw them in Venezuela in 2001, terrible show, I almost fall asleep. The opening band was Collective Soul, they were good, nice gig and they kept everyone jumping until the last minute, righ before Oasis.

BTW they were voted as the worse show in this year Glastonburry.

Didn't see Oasis n concert, but that's because I gave up trying. They cancelled three or four shows in a row in St Louis. When they finally did play, it became one of those shows people talk about as the worst show they'd seen. Liam left two songs into the set. Noel sang the entire show. Liam did come back out for the last song or two, but by that point the damage had been done.

Conflict

I saw them play at the Bluebird (if memory serves me correctly), anyhow their drummer apparently had a heart attack earlier that day; but they still went on stage.

So we listened to Conflict -drummer for fourty-five minutes. The lead singer did stomp his foot loudly on the stage.

Still, I guess I have to give them points for dedication.

Worst show in recent memory was The Strokes , who I consider a barely talented radio friendly boy band , played after Tenacious D who murdered any chance of following them succesfuly . The singer was obnoxiously " rockstar " drunk & couldn't remember most of the words or where the microphone was most of the time .The band was overall sloppy and didn't seem motivated to play at all , and a steady stream of people leaving while they played confirmed my feelings that their 15 minutes were just about up . After the show I got to talk to Kyle from Tenacious D and he said that touring with them was like running a daycare . They were spoiled little kids who had no idea what they were doing , and he was relived that the tour was over .

Let's see... Live

They opened for Jane's Addiction a few years back, and... It was just upsetting how bad it was. Then, Janes Addiction came on and saved my life.
