Songs that make you cry?

"muscle museum" by muse is not really even a sad song but it makes me cry every time i listen to it because it reminds me of my ex.

I'm not trying to be all macho alpha-male here...but I don't really cry over songs.....but there is a short list that will put a lump in my throat.

COLD - Cure My Tragedy (A Letter to God)

This song is sad enough on it's own, but when Scooter told the fans at a concert in Pueblo last Septemeber that the song is actually about his sister that is struggling with cancer, the song took on a whole new meaning to me. Now, knowing the truth behind the lyrics, I can't listen to it without feeling the need to cry, because Scooter is such a kind and gentle person, very friendly and happy to make time for his fans on most nights ..that it just seems so unfair for his sister and he to have to go through this at all. It is obvious that he loves his sister VERY much and that they are very close. Something about his writing and his voice just makes even the least 'sad' songs make you want to cry your heart out, let alone a song so personal and deep.
