I just found a renewed love in fishbone. Man I really like them.
Anyone else?

Or does everyone hate them?

or am I just old?

I remember when I was in grammer school in the early 90's, I wanted one of their shirts because it had a curse word on it.

Yeah, Fishbone fucking rocks. Seen em like 5 or 6 times, and I can't wait til I see them again. Some of the best stage presence ever.

I just saw Angelo and his wife doing spoken word at Tangiers in LA two weeks ago. It was a last minute surprise by the promoters.

Yeah, I saw them once in Baton Rouge. Great show. The awesome Mike Patton even claims that early Mr. Bungle material is just a Fishbone ripoff.

Truly a great band in thier heyday, but the albums have been in a slow steady decline in my opinion. I stopped buyting the new CDs reflexively after "Realityof My Surrondings".

Yeah, the new stuff is strictly pretty much funk. I still think it's good, but yeah, nothing like the old insanity.

I was cleaning my CD shelves yesterday and "found" Truth & Soul again, so I listened to it for the major part of the evening. Until England vs. France, of course.
