conformity in music

At this point, I have had phases where I like one type of music more than another or ignore one whole genre entirely. But now, I just tend to listen to whatever I happen to like at that given moment. Of course, I have artists that I really like and I am passionate about but they sit in all genres and still listen to nearly everthing else. I have recently developed a liking of country music that may get me killed on this site but oh well.
