SPIRIT appreciation thread

Been on this board for a year, never saw the group mentioned, but I know there are SOME fans out there.

Spirit kicked ass for a while. Randy California was a fine guitarist, and they had a sound that no others have managed to replicate. Far more than "the poor man's Love" as I saw some scribe declare in some publication that escapes me.

"1984," "Fresh Garbage," "Mr. Skin," "Dream Within a Dream," "Natures Way," "Dark Eyed Woman," "Give a Life, Take a Life," all classics.

And, oh yeah, "I Got a Line on You."

They play their video on VH1 Classics alot. How many freakin' guitarists are in this band anyway???
