That is awesome! I'm glad it's not the NOTB tattoo or Killers for that matter... i'm sick of seeing those. I plan on getting powerslave artwork tattooed this summer. smile

first metal band i ever got into and they still knock me on my ass....no prayer and fear were a little weak and i didnt even bother with the blayze albums but dance of death and brave new world are really REALLY good.....oh....and what the fuck is with jannick live? i swear his only job is to toss his guitar in the air and look cheesy.....

I have always been drawn to the mythology in their lyrics...people often forget how un-inteligent most metal lyrics were back in the day.....all around perhaps the finest metal band of the first wave with the exception of Motorhead...

Up the irons, indeed.

I still listen to Maiden at least once a day.

Remember back in the 80s when Maiden was supposed to be a dangerous infulence on the youth? Wtf?! They play some of the most engergized, happy music in the world. And the lyrics, if not always positive, are usually Sword and Socerery stories with morals.

I want to see them, the new lineup is the 'definitive' lineup.
