fucking likewise, homie. that woman has inspired so much of my poetry.

favorite bahamadia line - from "I confess" on the kollage LP:

"many men wit mass appeal expand across the globe by the mills/but still I picked you like a daffodil/cause you thrill me like magnetic fields that give my body chills/perserve my chocolate ties and it's a thrill; I'm sayin/that when you swing my way I, get a sudden rush/that entices me not to keep it on the hush-hush/boy times girl times lust equals us"

*swoon* what an emcee.

I really dig all the work Bahamadia does with Drum N' Bass Arstists. She has mastered the art of flowing over fast breaks, which ain't easy to do.

I agree she floes really well over DnB. Too bad she only seems to work with the likes of Ronisize, Die and Suv or rather Reprazent. I say to bad because yeah they have good shit but its all crossover DnB. I wanna hear her going off over some Tech Itch or sum Cause for Concern or even Dom and Roland. Now that would be ill. Here me now Seeelecta!!

exactly. i love it.

And as attractive as that napkin ever could've been
my how it unfolded, hold it to the wind
try now to be a rock, but she's caught under the skin
ex-lover and a best friend, just like the rest of them
then there was this one night, I watched someone bite
the tip of a cigarette, to hold it in between their lips
never met nobody like her, please brace yourself
danger, danger, this might hurt
the playground feels alot different when the sun's out
she wasn't messing around, she came in with the guns out
screamin' about the ocean, "anybody wanna go with me?"
never knew punk rock could be so pretty
- slug {atmosphere}
