I gotta tell you I was oh so young in the 90s so I'm even surprised about how bad my taste was, but I gotta say Smashing Pumpkins left quite the impression on me...oh I would like to add that even though we were all bombarded with "gangsta rap" I use that term loosely okay, but WU-TANG gave me good good good music, as did The Roots, Dre, The Pharcyde, Digable Planets, shit I'll be doing this all night....let's just say there was a time when rap and the show rap city were tolerable...those days are gone...I don't think I even remember what channel BET is on...yeah!!

Thank God I'm not the lone stranger on that one! I remember being so jaded at that time where new music was concerned. I was at a party one night and somebody put "I Should Coco" on... B-BAM!!! All crusty shells of jadedness came a-tumbling down! That album inspired me like no other in the 90's.

I'd point out that Outshined was the only one of these songs that was a big hit. Limo Wreck was just an album track that I dug and rusty cage was a flop single that was transformed into a known tune due to the cover by Johnny Cash.
