Inspired by the 80s songs. What are some of the great songs you remember from the early to mid 90s, the time a lot of people here started getting into music?

From stuff released in the mid-90's, I recall listening to:
Green Day - Burnout, Longview, 2000 Light Years Away
Bad Religion - Better Off Dead, Stranger than Fiction
Moonspell - Fullmoon Madness, Opium, Vampiria, Of Dream and Drama
Faith No More - Ricochet, Star A.D. (this one still remains funny to emulate), What a Day

Oh, and then there's Blackhole Sun, Cats in the Cradle, Living on the Edge and ugh, Runaway Train...

Yeah...anyways...the reason I asked it was because I was young in the 90s and I never really learned the band names or song names and I'm slowly accumulating every song from that era that I remember liking. And I'm finding out from other people gems from that era, which I think is under rated.

if this is a "one-hit wonder" of the 90's list...HUM should not be on that list...they are far too great to be called a one hit wonder

I once (so it's not up to date) made a graph about when most of my records were released (duh, I keep my collection excelled!), I guess between '72 and '82 there was at least five records per year, but before and after that period I think only a couple of years managed that even that much, '85, '91 and '96 if I remeber correctly. But then again, I only have like 500 records so the result might have been different if I was extremely rich.

it isnt so much that i dont like 90s stuff, nor was i implying you only like stuff from the 90s. if you took it that way, i apologize. its just that the first thing that popped into my head was that it annoys me when people in my generation dont know anything about older music and think that Nirvana was the first band to exist.
