I love CDs....I still like that "open up a new cd" feeling. I like looking at the liner notes too. PLUS I have dial up and downloading blows for me. biggrin

I really like the CD cover art, and how the songs are thoughtfully assembled. And of high quality.

I still care about CD's.

Ahh lassie, ya missed the 70's when you could actually see the cover artwork. wink

I like cd's because the song order tells a story, I also like the books that come with them, they have cool photography.

Neither of those is necessarily true.

I spend so much time shuffling between my home, car, office, school, other home, and various trips, that not only can't I carry enough CDs to satisfy my various moods, my general slovenliness has led to many a scratched and broken CDs. I'm much better at taking care of one iPod than 30 c.d.'s floating about my car.

And I have all my CD booklets in CD binders. Because I do love looking at them. There's some that I could probably draw from memory, if I could draw. I can tell you, for example, that more punk and metal bands have thanked Sugar Ray in their liner notes than you'd ever believe. biggrin

I like buying CDs but I rarely ever do because I simply can't afford it. Sometimes I'll go on a downloading spree and grab 20 or so albums, and I can't go out and buy 20 cds and still afford to do anything.
