yes. i don't have the vinyl, but i do have the man is the bastard quasi-discography with the neandrathall stuff on it. and what was that dude's name he always had braided pigtails. gotta look it up. ... eric wood. i also have the plutocracy "dankstahz" lp. one of the original 500 with the labels on the wrong side. i was huge into that whole power violence thing when it broke.
Fuck yeah, Neanderthal was amazing, I still have a couple things although at this moment I can't pull up any info about what I have off the top of my head.....

THAT'S it! Man is the Bastard. I couldn't remember the other band ... I kept thinking Asbestos Death, and I knew that wasn't right.
So where do I find this album?

rock on. Did they have more than the one 7" I'm thinking of?
Fu, wow. Memories.
This is rough. Neanderthal was Eric Wood, of course and one of the dudes from Rorschach. You will never find anything by them. So long gone. "Fighting Music" 7" oop from Slap A Ham; split 7" with Rorschach on Vermiform oop. As well as both labels no longer do releases altogether. Vermiform's site claims the Neanderthal tracks were later released, just vaguely on a "Deep Six cd" so that is probably on a comp b/c I don't see it anywhere.
The MITB discog "D.I.Y.C.D." must be unfortunately oop. SAH released it, they're over with and their distribution, Ebullition doesn't carry it. Total fucking bummer.
Ebay.
Don't forget about Crossed Out now! And there's a Plutocracy discog as well that a friend of mine released, like 40 tracks or something for the retardy price of $5. Whoa.
So, what you're telling me is that you're no help whatsoever haha
Yes! Fighting Music ...thank you!
So who released the Rorschach disc w/ everything on it? Do you know if this is still in print?
And ... while I have the attention of someone so knowledgable, maybe you can give me some clues on how/where/if I can replace some other old stuff ...
Asbestos Death - Buzzoven - Disrupt ...

THANK YOU!!! Those are exactly the two records I was trying to think of (fighting music and that split 7)! Hell yeah, Crossed Out were fucking great too. I used to have a band patterned after the Crossed Out style of power violence stuff, we lasted all of ONE show. But we did get to open for Extreme Noise Terror at that show, so it was worth it.....so much fun to sing 25-30 second songs....
yes, i have most of those fore mentioned obscure dork records. much spazz, agents of satan, plutocrazy, lots of slap a ham stuff. i've never gone on ebay to see what it's all worth, i don't need the temptation.
but mitb released much more stuff than is mentioned here. i can think of at least 4 7"s, many comps, and 1 record. they also had a side noise project "bastard noise". bootlegs exhist but are prolly harder to find than the originals. (their song "semen in the eye socket of thomas lenz" was about a bootlegger ripping them off)
i was lucky enough to go to the slap a ham fiesta grande two years ina row. '97-'98. mitb was supposed to play the first year but cancelled at the last minute.

1. yes you are a dork. my man just walked by and observed "Wow, only 3 of you nerds on the whole site." HA!!!! some modern old school shit here.
2. duh dude yeah! i only mentioned the DIYCD cuz that's what Fu asked about. i'm down, Eric was a friend of mine back then. i used to get cursed at when he would mail me records.
3. which Fiesta's did u attend? i'm almost positive i was at the '97 one, when i lived in SF for a few months. do you remember Monkey Bite 'zine? well i'll hit your journal in a sec, since you hit mine. it's so cool to see real hard core appreciation here.

I am flattered that you thanked me. I feel very cute that I could actually help YOU remember stuff b/c you are more knowledgable with every genre it seems.
Oh god I love hard core.

i was at 97 and 98. 97 was my graduation present from my parents. i had literally finished my last high school class hours before the flight. radness.
monkey bite came out in 97, so you must've been at that one. who fuckin' wrote it though? onea the guys from black army jacket... oh and noothgrush. shit or was it 98? it must've been 98 cause black army jacket played the alligator or whatever in 98. i don't think they were a band in 97. i took lots of drugs back then.

Dude, yeah. MB was done by my friend Andrew Orlando, and yeah, Jeff from CapCasualties/Noothgrush. I pointed the zine out b/c if you have it there's lots of pix in the first issue that i took @ that Fiesta. I am proud.
BlackAJ, god bless you for remembering them.

Yeah, no help for Neanderthal, no way.
You can get the KILLER Rorschach discog "Autopsy" thru Charles's label, Gern Blandsten. I need a new copy as well and I am certain it is still available. As for the Deep Six Records cd that supposedly re-released the Neanderthal tracks, you should email the label.
The other bands I am not certain of, sorry! Disrupt sets off bells but I think i'm confusing them with Rupture? There are soooo many Dis bands.
P.S. The first Dystopia record. GOOD.
Rock on ... I'll definilely look into it. My crusty punk days are long over but I still love the music and everything about it. Unfortunately most of my old records have been lost over the years ... there;s a lot of stuff I'm trying to re-aquire ... a lot of stuff that seems to be out of print.
The good news is I found out Profane Existence has re-resleased Nausea - Extinction.
Disrupt were a doom sludge band from back in the day. It's members later formed the band Grief.

AHA! OK I couldn't place it, so much Dis everywhere. Not only do I remember but I used to like Grief, if not for their attitudes. lol. I even shared a joint once with Terry at a party----Lee from Dropdead was actually being social in sharing his weed so i just had to. One of the, maybe 6 times i've ever done drugs in my life. I had to do it for hard core. Kidding.
I like how this thread is going strong but with only the same 4 people.
