Korn takes on the music industry in their newest song and video "Y'all Want a Single." This is a must see for people who download tunes off of the internet. I think it's about time the artists spoke up on behalf of their fans, on behalf of other strugling artists trying to get exposure, and against the mess that is the state of the music industry as a whole.

That's a great fuckin tune!!!!!
They even sanitized it for an actual radio single...I think they say "Suck That" instead!

I hate Korn, and they play that video on MTV all the time. Plus, they let their song be "sanitized" as RedHead put it.

Korn are Hypocrites.

Meh. The part about the 'single formula' is stupid. How the hook comes in in 20 seconds, how all the songs are 3:30 or less. So what? I can't spend all day listening to meandering 9 minute drum solos. some of the best songs ever fit that 'single' formula.

Or maybe i hate korn

<RANT>
I enjoy the tune because when I turn it up really loud it makes me feel good.

And I do agree with what Korn is saying, which is why I spend most of my music money on local talent and seeing live shows.

But I do agree that Korn ARE a bunch of hypocrites.....its amazing how these people get all political and anti-music-business AFTER they've made their millions and gone on their world tours.....

For example, I caught Fieldy (the bass player) on MTV's "Cribs" the other day.....gee, cry me a river fellas....

If it weren't for the "music business" Korn would still be playing dive bars and selling Cd's from a suitcase.

But none of the hypocrisy will stop me from listening to something that I think sounds good.

I'm not sure what age has to do with it. I'm 27 and I think their music sounds like poo. Maybe, I'm just a kid at heart. wink

I'm not a fan of theres, but if they are speaking out on the state of music I am all for that... but we, the fans, have to remember to do our part and keep our minds and ears open, I'm tired of hearing that the Damned, or the Cramps left the Rob Zombie tour because his fans didn't like them.... i
