Dug this up.
The new CARDIGANS record seems like another great and different collection of songs. They've always been great but have really blossomed as songwriters the past 2 albums.
so I will re-ask the question that started the thread-

2002, so it makes it.
It got good marks and I think every track is solid, but it didn't really seem to go anywhere. I remember buying it brand new in a used bin three weeks after it came out. I don't recall any advertising. It just seemed to come out of nowhere and obviously stayed there.
