I was just reading all the topics, and nothing has to do with Hip Hop. I know most people on this site are alternative, so I would expect to see a lot about bands. But no HIP HOP at all!??

Nickelback fans shouldn't be throwing stones at entire genres. Seriously.

i depends what you class as hip hop these days, sometimes i feel like the genres have been so blended together its hard to tell.

i had always assumed artists like eminem were rap but it appears to be classed as hip hop, in which case i am guilty

i love dieantwoord? but some say it electro rap others say its hip hop

I'm by no means an expert in the genre, but the girl I'm dating listens to a lot of hip-hop so I've kind of been getting into through her: Wiz Khalifa, Tyler the Creator, Odd Future, Killer Mike, Yelawolf, Kanye, Shabazz Palaces, etc.

Now that's what I'm talking about!

I love the UK scene at the moment, Rhyme Asylum, Contact Play, Leaf Dog, Chester P etc

Not so familiar with the current US scene but there are a quite a few people putting out good quality stuff there too.

Yeah loving Leaf Dog, From A Scarecrows Perspective is insanely fresh, I'll look up the others as I'm a freakin' sponge when it comes to music! Look up Piecelock70 for independent Hip Hop artists

Most mainstream hip hop is crap, but I can enjoy some Delinquent Habits for example.

And metal plus hip-hop makes a great combination smile (ignore the lyrics)
