My best friend produced this Cameron Crowe documentary and, I have to say, it really blew my mind. In 1991, when Pearl Jam broke, I was an old school Sonic Youth fan and I just didn't get that shit. It was classic rock at a time that I just wasn't open to that vibe.

But, I gotta say, after seeing this film (five times now!), I really have a retroactive respect for this band. It's pretty wonderful. Maybe you're into it, or maybe not, but it really moved me.

i'm so glad to read a review on it, since i've been debating on going to the movie theater to check it out.
i love pearl jam but i was scared of the documentary.
i might check it out this week!

i was just talking to a friend of mine today about this movie. i'm hoping to catch it when it airs on PBS. don't listen to them much at all now but i did love them back in the day.
