Axl is crazy...but I understand why he kicked everyone out of the band. They were a bunch of heroin addicts. He wanted to make music they wanted to abuse drugs. Duff Mckagan can barly even talk now from so much drug use back then
Rock Queen or Coma. I love the solo in both of these. Axl is one of the greatest rock singers and frontman ever but he is also the biggest Cunt in rock history.
Rocket Queen and Nightrain. Also super into Shadow of your Love which is technically a Hollywood Rose song.
Axl is definitely nuts, but I don't really think GNR was built to last in any case. Their evident instability is part of what makes Appetite so amazing.
I loved that st louis concert where security wasnt doing there job so Axl jumped off stage in the middle of Rocket Queen and punched that fan in the face haha. We need more of that crazy shit. Thats Rock N Roll.

Yup. Seeing them live in '88, you could tell they were going to be massive and the collapse of the band would be even more so.
Who on earth listens to any other album than the first?
Well, Appetite's the only full album I'll listen to. Except for Paradise City. I loathe that song. But, IMO, Lies and Illusion both have a few good cuts. But they're not albums I"d play from front to back.
