I am one of the world's leading pack rats, so every once in a while I have to go through and throw away boxes of crap to make room for new crap. I discovered a bunch of ST CDs and tapes (yeah remember those) that I haven't listened to in years. I was suprised to realize how much I still love most of thier music. I was so in awe and so bored that I started this thread. Here are a few of my all time fave songs by Mike Muir and Co.

Facist Pig
Feel Like Shit...Deja Vu
Institutionalized
I Saw Your Mommy
Can't Stop
Waking the Dead
Two Wrongs Don't Make A Right (But They Make Me Feel A Whole Lot Better)
Join the Army
Trip At the Brain

The first record is a classic and Join The Army is pretty good, but after that they totally lost it. Still, most bands don't ever put out a record as good as their first one.

I was kinda floored watching the Discovery Channel while watching Monster House. Mike Muir actually let them use his house and turn it into this weird "Fright House." They noted him and who he was, but I dont recall hearing any ST songs inthe episode.

Join the Army was the first of non-radio type music tape i ever got. 'Possessed to Skate' was on 120 minutes (?) one sunday in 1986, and i got it the folloewing weekend. I got JTA and Love and Rockets both from the "import" section.

Ahhh its just been downhill from there.

Keene, New Hampshire, I was there....it was hot as fuck....during Metallica's set, Newstead passed out from heat exaustion....remember? Kinda funny that his replacement would be ST's Robert Trujillo eventually.

Suicidal Tendencies is awesome. No matter what.

I bought their Prime Cuts CD a while back out of a whim and I ended up liking it alot. I used to listen to it all the time but I got kinda' off of it lately. Maybe it's time to brush it off and throw it back in the CD player.
