This was my original point of anguish. Too much like this, basically the 2 one and only female / true original pioneers of it all.
So much bananas about Poly then - teenage girl, black, mentally ill, fat, awkward with braces. Unlikely hero not only ahead of her time but was never touched or replicated, same as her band's sound and vision.
