thesixtyone, a fun way to explore new music

Hey everyone, fellow German who wants to socialize a bit .. and what better way to do that than to share some love .. or music. Both.

Anyway, TheSixtyOne is a pretty awesome website I discovered a few weeks ago. Basically it plays you songs from different bands and genres, mostly new ones and gives you fullscreen artwork with a minimalistic interface all in you're browser.

You can skip any songs you dislike, and promote songs you love by giving them hearts so more people will be fed those songs. And if you create an account you are even given small assignments and can level up by doing tasks like listening to the same song a few times and stuff like that (don't achievements make everything better ?)

So, I can't stop listening to Help, I'm Alive by Metric. Might not be that new but I didn't know it.
