The Pixies are still be courted as a double headliner for the traveling festival."

This sentence makes me question the validity of this rumor. The Pixies would not be in the same league as NIN as a concert draw and would certainly not be able to headline something like Loolapalooza.

I hate to disagree with you Souljacker (since you're my main man and all), but you couldn't be more wrong! Coachella is liely to sell out for the first time since it's inception thsi year; and why? Because of the Pixies reunion!

The Pixies are loved the world over, man.

This wasn't intended as a critique of the Pixies. Remember that Lolapalooza goes all over the country and I just kinda think that the Pixies are legendary on the coasts but largely unknown in the middle of the country. I think NIN draws the typical "rock concert" audience that fills venues in the midwest.

Yeah; in fcat I'm pretty sure you're a Pixies fan (just an assumption). But that may be a good point, you bring up. But then, having no idea what the rest of the country thinks about anything, I'd be the last person in the world to say for sure.

the pixies are awesome. demographically speaking, however, it would seem crazy to think that they would draw a crowd anywhere the way that NIN would.

anyone have any info on the title of the album, this is the first i've even heard of it. blush

I think it's supposed to be called Bleed Through, and be more song oriented, unlike The Fragile. I probably read all this somewhere else on the boards.

But this was like 1989 so I guess a lot has changed since then.

I can be an annoying half-assed goth kid if the money is right.

I still am digging on the Quake soundtrack. I welcome any digital dump he's got.
