Rusko, Bengie, Modeselektor (kinda dubby), Ultrablack, Skrillex, Eskmo, A Beatz, Spacemonkeyz are in regular rotation in all my music libraries. Yeah, I've different albums in my iPod, laptops, etc... anyways!
I was surprised to see it catch on to rapidly. Last year when I was playing Benga (my first segue into dubstep), nobody around knew about dubstep at all. Now I have several friends who are all about it, and I'm hearing it in movies, commercials, the radio....
I think it's got a bit out of hand as a fad... in the sense that there are a lot of talentless hacks jumping on the bandwagon to get popular, but I also like that the popularity has really expanded the genre into all sorts of different directions.
omg wow. I listen to dubstep a lot, and that's probably the slowest song of the genre I've heard haha. There's wayyyy more out there that you can dance to believe me. Some of the shows are so crazy.
UKF has some of the best stuff I've ever heard. They have all kinds of fresh shit. They have a dubstep and drum/bass channel full of a variety of different artists' music. Here's their youtube channel.
I don't like everything they post, but they have some good uploads if you take the time to go through them
