You don't really understand much about music, do you?
yea youre right, i dont have a clue, i've only been playin music since i was in 4th grade.
Uhh so I've been playing since 3rd grade... does that make me better?
Radiohead ROCKS!! And if I don't get depressed or feel some anger that the music hasn't done its job...

I'm with you on that one. While everyone was gushing over them (here in the good ol' musically ignorant USA that is) they missed out on one of Britain's finest exports... the unbelievably versatile Supergrass... a MUCH more interesting and much more fun band.

Four years for 37 minutes of music. I think they've been borrowing George R.R. Martin's work ethic.
Every time a new Radiohead album comes out the articles I read about it read like the voice in my head as I walked out of the theater after seeing The Phantom Menace for the first time that was trying to somehow trick myself into believing it was actually an awesome new Star Wars movie and not a collosal pile of bantha poodoo.
a lot of people have mentioned to me about how " my music" is sad and depressing, but not all of radiohead's songs are. some of them may be about sad things, but in general, the music is beautiful and interesting. songs like dollars and cents and life in a glass house are so unique, in my mind. i love them because they have not only produced several fantastic albums, but they have never strayed away from their fans.
when in rainbows came out, they dropped their label and released their cd online for however much you wanted to pay for it. 1 cent to 100 dollars, and beyond. they are about the music, and they love what they do, and that is why they will forever hold a dear place in my musical heart.
yes, thom yorke is a pretty weird. but who are you to judge? he's famous, and you're not, so stop being jealous and get over it.
I've been a fan since Creep came out way back when, have most of their CDs and have seen them live but I will say that each and every Radiohead CD has it's share of garbage songs.
Never got into the whole "lets make five or six minutes of random noise" and call it a song and since we are a well respected and revered band everyone will call it brilliant. I call that filler.
Don't get me wrong, I love em, but I buy each CD knowing that I'm probably going to hate about 1/3 of it.

why do people think it makes everything better if they tag the line "from new york" at the end of their hobbies/professions?
