Oomph! started out as pretty hardcore dudes. Now I can barely distinguish their music from Lady Gaga's. frown

She Wants Revenge. The first two albums were so wonderfully broody. The last album had joyful tunes. I don't want joyful, I want monotone brooding.

I don't know what Metallica was thinking when they teamed up with Lou Reed but that was fucking bad.

Underoath because they showed so much promise and now they suck. Darkest Hour because Kris Norris is a god and never should have been allowed to leave the band. They are just not as good without him and John Henry should cut his hair.

I haven't liked them past ...And Justice For All. So I would say the disappointment actually started there, lol.

Weezer. If you look at Weezer in reverse, they're four rich dudes who aren't very good but try really hard and end up becoming one of the bands that defined a generation. [sic.]

Alkaline Trio. Crimson was awful and they haven't released anything even passable since. I personally like to blame Derek Grant for this, haha.

Kings of Leon. They were never really my thing, but I remember their first album being this croaky, low-down, whisky-stinking beard fest... and now they're just another horrendous chart indie band like the Killers et al.
