Deftones is a big disappointment to me right now. I used to love them so much but the last couple cds have been awful.

I completely lost interest in Queens of the Stone Age after Nick Oliveri was given the boot. There was a significant decline in the quality of music, in my opinion, and it also became all about Homme. Queens was at its best when it had that reckless, meth-induced edge that Oliveri provided, and when it wasn't strictly about Homme's ego.

Audioslave after their first album and all the solo Chris Cornell albums with the exception of "Euphoria Mourning". That album wasn't half bad.

The Mars Volta.

I love their music, oh god do I ever. I guess it's not so much that The Mars Volta disappoints me, it's Cedric himself. He's gotta stop kicking out drummers. Their drummer that they got for Bedlam and Octohedron was PERFECT.

Cedric is a bloody genius, and like all geniuses, he's too cocky for his own good.

Also, the fact that technically "The Mars Volta" is just Cedric and Omar and everyone else is part of "The Mars Volta group". I mean, give Isaiah and Juan the credit they deserve after their non-stop dedication to the band.

I'm dissapointed in Atreyu..they've always kind of had a bad reputation but I always loved their music..I fuckin LOVED Suicide Notes and Butterflies Kisses,The Curse, and Deathgrip but the last two aren't so great..I only like maybe a couple of songs from the last few records..what a shame..uggh....but I've noticed that a lot of bands do that..they kick ass,get popular,go back to studio..after that ?????? lol

Not so much disappointment in a band, but in a member.

Wes Borland, the fact you are back with Limp Bizkit makes me cry.

This. I saw them on the late show the other night and it was sooo horrible. I'm pretty sure they are just using the same music and putting different lyrics to it and trying to pass it off as a new song. Wes could do better for sure.

*sigh* sad but true frown

i'm also disappointed in deftones. 'white pony' was a masterpiece, and it's been pretty poor since then. i'll throw in coheed & cambria too. first two albums = genius. after that, not so great (barring 'welcome home' which is awesome!)

ABBA. Are they really that oblivious as to how much money they would make off a reunion? I mean how many other groups from the 70's still have all members living? The list gets shorter everyday. They have to act soon or it will be too late.

Marilyn Manson post-Daisy is the one I'm most disappointed in.
Nine Inch Nails - music like "Survivalism" is overly compressed and just boring as hell.
