Funny thing is, the first two are my boyfriends favourite bands, and he can't stand country music. We have to compromise on what music we listen to when we're in the house together.

I understand not personally liking a band/artist that's really popular (for instance I'm not a Beatles fan), but considering how big they are and how they've changed musical history, NOT liking someone for liking a big band like that? I don't see how that's possible, because that'd mean you don't like many people at all...

I dont dislike everyone that likes his music, only the ones that are like "OMG he is like super jesus musicman savior guy!"

Edit - also you must not like alot of 30 something college people since you listed dave mathews band, almost everyone I knew in my late teens, early 20s were DMB fans, I could take them or leave them but I didnt really mind it.
