Mother Mother.

They were amazing live, much better than recorded, opening for Matt Good.

Love the variety you'll find on a CD like O My Heart.

Go from the title track, O My Heart, pounding as it is.

Then to a cooler groove in Body of Years, harkening back to the 80s a bit for me.

And a completely different turn in Ghosting, nothing exaggerated in saying it is hauntingly beautiful.

Them Crooked Vultures. Guess they aren't THAT new.

Not a band that I've recently started listening to - I've been into them in a big way for the last year or two. However, hardly anybody has heard of them - the most publicity they have had was as background music on CSI - and I think that everybody should listen to them.

They're amazing.

I didn't like this to begin with and then it got stuck in my head so much, so now I guess I like it.

Randomly happened upon Silence is Sexy because they put out one of their albums on the web for free download....

My favourite new (to me) band is British Sea Power, can't get enough of them at the moment.

I recently seen GlassJaw they were amazing had no idea who they were and then I found out they had been around for a while I was pretty impressed they put on an amazing show.

Heard these guys and immediately bought both their albums. A lot of good stuff both musically and SG wise coming out of Ohio. Maybe next time I'm there I should explore a little more.
