Any Gogol Bordello fans on SG?

Last night at Irving Plaza was absolutely delicious !! From the beginning strains of the opener, " Illumination " , to the medley of " Baro Foro " and just about anything the Prince of Hutzagovina could think of , and everything in between, the show was beyond belief . I walked out with the kind of lung burn / muscle ache/ voice shred that used to be reserved for The Who (w/ Keith Moon) , The Ramones, and The Clash.

GB's website offering free MP3 download of Lela Pala Tute .I believe all that's necessary is sign up for GB's free net newsletter. Also, their " Non Stop " and " Tales from Axis Mundi " dvds are incredible. GB and Manu Chao playing together, with Roy Paci on trumpet, on the former and Baro Foro on the latter are alone worth the price.

I shoudl be seeing them in a month in the Twin Cities; I can't wait!

I'm in for several of the shows that follow M-StP ; Boston on 4/28 , Baltimore on 4/29 and 4/30, and Philly on 5/1 !! Over the moon already. I had better stock up the Ben-Gay , potassium, and tea and honey. Time for muscle ache and voice shred.

Checking the Hangman style puzzle being used to identify the line-up for Lollapalooza prior to the April 6 announcement , it appears that there is a good chance that Gogol Bordello will be on the bill for the Aug 6 to Aug 8 festival (See row four , third from left) . The puzzle is on Lollapalooza.com .

The Gogol Bordello homepage officially announced their appearance at Lollapalooza today. No exact date and time were given .

Speaking of Lollapalooza, and for those wanting some more of a Gogol vibe, Balkan Beat Box (Ori Kaplan , Tamir Muskat , and Co.) will also be playing at some point over the three days.

Gogol Bordello is soo good! Everytime they come to southern california i miss them :[. They would be fun to see live.

Big fan. I've seen them half a dozen times or more. Their live shows never get old. Now if they'd just get back to touring the South, I'd see them some more.

I love the band... but I have a different reason for doing so... but I did finally see a show of theirs after a year of not doing so.. and wow.. amazing band live. I totally recommend catching them on the next US tour in March.. which hasn't been announced yet.. but enjoy.. maybe see y'all at some shows this year

I absolutely LOVE going to their shows when they come to Southern California. So freakin' good. They really know how to keep the energy up. I can't wait to see them again!
