Is anybody else sick of Auto-Tune?

The whole voicebox thing has been in music for a while but Auto-tune got real popular when Cher used it over 10 years ago. Now Autotune,which was popular in dance music is now being used in hip-hop,R&B, and even GOSPEL? WTF? I blame people like T-Pain, Kanye West, and Lil Wayne for taking something and using the FUCK out of it. Anybody else sick of this trend?

It makes me want to stab old ladies. Thank god I don't listen to top 40 radio or I'd probably be atop a bell tower with a sniper rifle.

But seriously-I think this has something to do with why I've started taking in more local shows/trying to see people that can actually carry a tune without machine assistance.

Hehehehehehe, you missed the points. Find me a person that likes auto-tune. It's like finding someone that likes Jay Leno. They don't exist or are too scared to voice their opinion. It was a lame attempt to feel cool.

Other point, is that he is obnoxious every I see him on SG. I set him to ignore after about the fifth time I saw him post, but he just won't go away.

Maybe if he took a stance that everyone did not already agree with and did it in a way that was not an annoying attempt to feel cool, then maybe I'd cut some slack. But no. Sorry I called out the BS. I promise it will happen again.

I actually LIKE Jay Leno thank you. And Pip if I annoy you that's on you. I can't make every single person on SG like me nor do I care to. I think the auto-tune subject is a valid argument and maybe if you got your head out of your ass once in a while you'll find there are some fans of it as well. This is not about "being cool" I would have thought a person like you would get over that high school mentality but apparently not.
