Thought it was pretty boring, in a Foo Fighters sort of way.

This is a great album, but as usual...some are deaf to success.

"Some" are deaf? I haven't seen one good review for this record anywhere. Everything has ranged from mediocre to bad. Pitchfork just gave it a 6.2 rating today, in fact. It's just not a great album.

I don't love it, but it's better than Them Crooked Vultures. For sure.

If you like Zwan and Velvet Revolver, this will complete your competent and boring supergroup music collection. Otherwise, I'd pass.

Oh, well if Pitchfork wasn't that keen then I guess that's that. I'll delete it off my iPod later.

You guys are kidding, right? This is all a "ha ha, I'm going to be snarky on the music boards" joke, right?

wasn't amazed at first pass but it grows on me the more i listen to it. QOTSA is one of my fav groups and i think josh on vocs in TCV make it kinda sound like weak QOTSA and hard to love instantly. But i cant wait to see them live.

if you listen to it just once or twice you'll never understand how it can smash your bones! i found it right noisy, melodic and angry as i wanted it to be...

I thought the album was really fun and I read somewhere that they are planning on releasing another album sometime later this year.

I saw them in Oakland at the Fox Theatre a little while back when their album first came out and it was a pretty rad show! The energy in the room was amazing. All of those guys have an awesome stage presence and they were so enthusiastic to perform, which is always appreciated.

Totally. When I saw them, the pause and crowd surge before the big riff in No One Loves Me... was fucking amazing, just pure excitement and pleasure.

Yeah I was let down, I thought it'd be so much more, instead it's like a Queens of the stone age album.

I can't say too much since the only song I have heard is their single which I don't even know the name of, however...

Sounds like someone slaughtering an ostrich, (which I would actually like to hear). I find it all annoying. I always hated the voice of that dude from Queens of the Stone Age.

Wouldn't hate it so much if it weren't on the radio once every hour.
