Gotcha. I just got a special fire under my belly for that band. I won't do that again, lol.

Agreed! I hate Rush, when they come on the radio it's an instant station change.

I saw them live once. One of the worst concerts ever. It wasn't my money so I went.

Geddy Lee is one of the men I would love to have the opportunity to deliver a massive open handed slap to..

Haha! Dude, if I could plan it out ahead of time there would be a photographer along so I could relive the moment over and over again! Alas, I see it as more of a spontaneous thing, like I happen to see him in the street and just deliver a good old fashioned glove smack across his chops out of the blue. Imagine the look on his face!!

Metallica is agreed on, they are pretty damn overrated.
But I thought it was pretty much commonly accepted that Lincoln Park is mediocre at best.

Not trying to be a dick... just keeping the ball rolling.

Yes. I am too lazy to google the name to get the right spelling.

Also: I enjoy the Lincoln Square neighborhood in Chicago, more than I like the Lincoln Park neighborhood.

I agree, and agree!

Sure, I'm not adding anything to the conversation, I'm just happy other people think that these bands blow.
Find some actual avant garde music you nerds!

Word.

I'd include A Perfect Circle and 95% of Mike Patton's shit (the Dave Grohl of "experimental" music.

The majority of my personal friends made through SG are Tool/NIN fans or Patton fans, or both.

I'll leave it there.

Bonny Bear.

SPOILERS! (Click to view)
In all seriousness, I do think Bon Iver (Justin Vernon) is overrated, but probably not to the extent of "Of All Time" status.

I just like saying "Bonny Bear" smile

My real answer is probably Nirvana (even though I like them).

Having a lot of fans is a prerequisite if being overrated.

Fucking Mike Patton.
I can't stand that two-bit Yamatsuka Eye wannabe! He ruind John Zorn for me. I see his name in a bands line up and think, "Fuck, why do they ruin thier band with this guy?"

At the risk of pissing many people off I would definitely have to say
"The Beatles". I understand they did many new things but the quality of what they
came out with really was not at all worth the hype they still carry now.
