Mine is by far Electric Ladyland by Jimi Hendrix I could listen to it 100 times a day and never get tired of it.

You should have made this "Personal Favorite Rock Album of all Time." It's impossible to determine the greatest one.

Anyway, my personal favorite is Debaser by the Pixies.

Some potential greatest albums:
The Beatles - Rubber Soul through the white album.
Rolling Stones - Let it Bleed and Exile on Main Street
The Clash - London Calling
Bob Dylan - Highway 61 Revisited or Blonde on Blonde
The Beach Boys - Pet Sounds

I'm right there with you.

To me, a great album is one where you never feel like skipping a track

The 1987 self titled album by Rock and Roll juggernaut (insert band name here) was the best album by far. They are the last bastion of true Rock and Roll.

I wouldn't go as far as to say the best ever, but

The Cult - Electric

commands respect, and certainly can be mentioned along with the best rock albums of all time.

The velvet underground : Andy warhol's LP¨
Pavement : Slanted and enchanted
Sonic Youth : Goo
Fishbone : Truth and soul
Pixies : Doolittle

This is IMPOSSIBLE to answer because it would be different EVERY time but here are some considerations:

Sticky Fingers or Exile or Let it Bleed or Beggar's Banquet
Nevermind
Blonde on Blonde or Highway 61 Revisited ot Blood on the Tracks
Who's Next
Sister Rosa by the Pixies

And I never would have included London Calling until I saw it mentioned in this thread and now I think that I would fucking DIE if I knew I could never hear it again. That album hums in my fucking DNA!!!!
