Anyone else from Florida remember The Usuals? Those were good times. Seeing all the Florida ska bands( LTJ, Baccone Dolce, Skif Dank, The Usuals....) at the old milk bar was awesome. I miss those days. Any Ska show was guranteed to be a fun night.

OMG I LOVED ALL THOSE BANDS (except LTJ). i was IN LOVE with the lead singer of the usuals. every time they would come to st petersburg my 16 year old drunken ass would always holler game at her. but yeah, totally. do you remember magadog or the rugcutters or the cold spot 8?

I danced with such a pretty girl at a Bostones show. I miss dancing at shows.

Old thread bump!

I'm feeling nostalgic for the Pietasters and the Toasters. In fact, my copy of Oolooloo is so scratched up it doesn't play anymore, and I'm having a hell of a time finding a new CD. frown

Serendipitously, I think I'm going to a ska show tonight.

I'm prepared to be truly horrified, as I have been for the past few shows I've attended featuring 'new' ska bands.
