haha. shame? what is a shame is grown men driving around in vans with a dark side of the moon album cover paint job. what is a shame is people who live and die for such crappy bloated shit.

Right because that happens every day. Oh wait, that was the 70's - how old were you then? Oh, right, you weren't even a tickle in your dad's balls while he was probably getting high and listening to that album. Hell, half the bands in your top 10 on your profile are older than you.
surreal

what does bands-i-like-being-older-than-i-am have to do with the fact that pink floyd suck and there are still people driving in said vans? and my dad was into badass music, doggie.

Dude... Floyd was badass back in the day. Kind of sucked in the 80's and really blew in the 90's.

Prog-rock, like TOOL, YES, King Crimson, ELP, Floyd, are all acquired tastes.

I'm with MDF . . . . don't criticize something you weren't around for! Things are cool in the time they come around. You may not think the stuff at Woodstock was cool . . . . your loss!

actually, i've got a 2' x 3' sticker of 'the wall' on my camry...but that's the best i could do.
and i still love TOOL.
they were awesome before the crazy lazers, but those are a nice touch at the show. and their show is at least alot more interesting visually than anything that any other band is doing by about 1000% with the exception of the nin 'lights in the sky' tour visuals.

It's crazy how Tool brings chaos in every forum they are mentioned...

Probably the fact that too much people are going around saying : "I luv TOOL cuz they fukin ROKZZ"
That and those making them so much of a cult that others begin to think they are overrated.

pretty funny...

I Love Tool for so many reasons... they really opened a new era of musical discovery and widened my perspective.

I also think it would be terrible to reduce Pink Floyd to a bunch of laser wavering guys. They did so much for their time and a lot further. But hey, everyone's entitled to their opinion!

I enjoyed the Wall Movie once again 2 nights ago, always a pleasure!

Peace
