God, this place is full of miserable bastards sometimes. Dude is looking for some Tool fans on a Music board, sure, he doesn't really say much of use, but doesn't deserve random sniping and 'clever' remarks.

Personally, I adore Tool, like a metal Pink Floyd, they've written music perfect for me. I really, really can't wait to hear some new material. Any news on when we might see this next album? Would love a live DVD too.

It's funny how the exact same phrase can mean completely different things to two people.

If "tool" is all you have to say...you're not adding much to the conversation. Think about that for a second.

"So...what do you think of the heightened military operations in Afghanistan?"
"Tool"

"How tough do you think the GOP will be on Sotomayor during the confirmation hearings?"
"Tool"

"Who would you say are the Beatles' biggest influences?"
"Tool"

"Who's opening for the Boston Pops?"
"Tool"

ha. i am seeing them on the 22nd. wink wink wink BatAttaK

I think they are a lot of peoples influences nowadays. I remember seeing them back in 92 so they have been around for a long time. Not a lot of people can say that and have so many fans and still fill up a stadium.

i know a lot of people have a problem with Maynard being an ass. I don't know. Don't care. I enjoy his music.

...in your opinion. But hey, such is the rich tapestry of life. Hard edged spacey rock does it for me, if it doesn't for you, then that's cool. It's a shame you can't appreciate it.

haha. shame? what is a shame is grown men driving around in vans with a dark side of the moon album cover paint job. what is a shame is people who live and die for such crappy bloated shit. just because a band has crazy lazers doesn't make them super awesome.

Right because that happens every day. Oh wait, that was the 70's - how old were you then? Oh, right, you weren't even a thought while you parents were probably getting high and listening to that album. Hell, half the bands in your top 10 on your profile are older than you.
