For some reason that songs always reminds me of "The Wedding Singer",
it was such a short clip of Drew Barrymore singing in front of her
mirror.. but, my goodness how it stuck.

7 Seconds' version is better but nothing beats Nena's original.

Not to sound like the American I am, but does she have an English site? I would love to see what she has done and maybe buy some albums.

PS. Yes, I can run the site through google or bablefish, but I would a nice translation.

Telus, the phone company in these here parts, has a TV commercial spot these days using this song. Their advertising campaign for their mobility division has been the same since before it was acquired from Clearnet years and years ago... they use animals in front of whitescreens, with recognizable songs with relevant lyrics playing in the background... This latest one really doesn't make much sense though. It shows a bunch of red baloons floating up past the camera, and then there are pigs strapped to the balloons that also float up past the camera... the tagline is something about saying what you could never say in words, and the commercial turns out to be for cell phones with built in digital cameras... I suppose it's supposed to be a reference to "When pigs fly..." but it's pretty weak. it annoys the hell out of me every time it comes on.
