- Belle & Sebastian - Dear Catastrophe Waitress
- Kings of Leon - Youth and Young Manhood
- White Stripes - Elephant
- Outkast - Speakerboxx / the Love Below

1. Outrageous Cherry
2. The Kills
3. Dressy Bessy
4. The Thrills
5. The Sounds

I so badly wanted to avoid any act who refers to themselves as "the" something but those three were unavoidable... at least they're not overdone generic garage rock I guess.

1. against me! "...as the eternal cowboy"
2. every time i die "hot damn!"
3. blood brothers "burn piano island burn"
4. a small victory "the pieces we keep" (plug plug plug *winks*)

i don't think i got any other new releases this year. i have still yet to get the new outkast even though it is amazing, and the new ludacris is good but not top 5 good. same with the new saves the day.
