Wow. I used to be involved with this crazy chick from Boston who's absolutely nuts about the Wedding Present.

And that's all I have to say about that.

"Kennedy" is an amazing song... and I don't use the adjective "amazing" as loosely as Hollywood types.

I like Bizarro and various Peel sessions, and I love Hit Parade Vol. 1 and "Flying Saucer".

Brilliant band. I first heard "George Best" about four years ago, and I was immediately into it. Noisey, lo-fi-pop...and great!

And I just have to say: they are the greatest cover band of all time! Who else would cover the them from Twin Peaks, or better yet do the theme song from "Cheers", amd then turn it into a kickass song!?!?!!??!? Only the Wedding Present, that's who.

On September 3, it was announced that what was supposed to be the fourth Cinerama album will actually be released under the name THE WEDDING PRESENT.

More proof that that which we call a Wedding Present by any other name would smell as sweet. Or like David Gedge.
