RUSH on Colbert

Anyone else see RUSH on Colbert last night? Their first American TV appearance in 33 years and Comedy Central cuts to a fucking commercial in the middle of their performance? Really? Fuck.

Someone call FearTheReaper - we have a candidate for next week's Asshole Fuckface Roundup.

I saw that too. I couldn't believe they cut to commercial on them and they know who Rush is and what they do on stage. I understand they have to pick a song that most people, Rush fans and non Rush fans alike, have probably heard, but you'd think they would allow time in the show to play the song instead of talking over it and ending the show during it.

That drum kit was insane.

I'm sure they knew they were going to get cut off. They were joking about how long their songs were throughout the show.

So is RUSH supposed to be spelled in all caps, or are we just super fans?

i am not really that big of a rush fan, but man that was the best
tv appearance of any band. leave it to colbert. dude is a genius.
they are legends, and to play along with him like that = MAJOR CLASS
