Who misses Freddie Mercury?

He was the greatest of all band singers in my mind.

It's bizarre, but sometimes I dream I am one of his best friends, and help take care of him through his illness.

He was a phenomenal singer with a beautiful voice, and I miss him.

1. Used to run up huge phone bills talking to his cats on tour.

2. Had midgets at his parties to hold silver platters for cocaine, so people didn't have to bend down too far to indulge. So smart.

best frontman of any band ever. so fucking amazing. such a fantastic voice. so charismatic. . .

I don't miss him. I hated that band.

I also always miss his teeth.

He was truly one a kind. There will never be another like him.

I thought he was the sexiest man alive when I was a little girl. Thanks to him I have a moustache fetish.

So that's how John Oates got a career.

My first concert I ever attended was when they were on the final leg of their "Magic Tour" in 1986, I was 4 years old. So yeah, just a little bit. He's gone, Marc Bolan is gone, David Bowie is getting old...very depressing state of affairs. I did take something away from that, however. I was digging through a bunch of shit from when I was little and found one of those Child's Small-sized shirts from that concert with all 4 of their autographs on it, along with a program from the show.

He was the best. Absolutely.

A great voice. Though I'm still favouring Jim Morrison.

I love older Queen , when they still had the " No Synthesizers were used to make this album " written in the record sleeve . If you miss Freddie , check out the latest release of them playing live in Montreal . It's probably the most rocking live release they have . Live Killers is good too , but the new cd has a much better mix to the sound . And as a recommendation , if you've never heard them , listen to the first three albums . Queen , Queen II & Sheer Heart Attack are all just great .

Truly gifted singer and perfomer. Most new bands look and sound lame live because of artist like Queen. They also sound lame live because most of the new bands, well they suck.

There will never be another performer with a talent like his. He poured his heart out with every note. Losing him was a sad sad day for music.

I am crying now, dammit. sigh.

I swear that Mika guy sounds just like him

Mika bears an uncanny similarity and is polite enough to lyrically acknowledge Freddie by name in "Grace Kelly."

Personally , Muse remind me of Queen in some ways . A flair for the dramatic , classical music snippets , soaring vocals at times & a serious variety of themes on any given cd .

I love to hear him, but I can barely watch him, that overbite is like watching Hostel (but not Hostel II, too 'fantastical')
