I love and own everything between Santa Dog and Cube E. I have everything on vinyl and have seen them live in Chicago. They are one of the greatest bands of all time.

actually, i think the single version of "santa dog" was the first residents song i ever heard. it completely amazed and fascinated me. that was about 1992 that i heard that. ever since, i've been trying to get my hands on as much residents stuff as possible.

Way to bump, NoFi!

The Commercial Album was my Residents initialization and I still love it. Our Finest Flowers and KawLiga are among my faves, as well. Of the ones I have, Eskimo is the hardest to get into.

check out the Eskimo dvd. it makes the songs alot more interesting. and the animation is really beautiful.

oh damn, there's a dvd for that? i remember sitting in a dark room listening to "Eskimo" on headphones, being magically transported to the tundra.

"Third Reich and Roll" remains my favorite!
